1995 Porsche 911/993 Carrera Cabriolet

This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was acquired by the seller in in 2022 and is finished in black over black full leather. Power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes a black soft top, 18″ wheels, power-adjustable and heated front seats, air conditioning, a Becker CDR-220 stereo, a CD changer, and an in-car cellular phone.  This 993 convertible is offered with spare and removed parts, service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black (L741) and features a black soft top and a flip-up rear windscreen. Additional equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, a ‘basket handle’ rear wing, headlight washers, foglights, and heated side mirrors. The seller notes that the hood and bumper cover were refinished in 2008, and rust bubbles are present on the windshield cowl.  The brake system is equipped with black-finished calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. An alignment is said to have been performed in August 2021. The factory 17″ Cup 2 wheels are included in the sale and pictured in the gallery.Staggered-width 18″ Turbo Twist wheels wrapped in Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires sized 225/40 up front and 285/30 in back included in the sale.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in black leather, which extends to dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include eight-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, air conditioning, a Becker CDR-220 stereo with a remote-mounted CD changer, a factory in-car cellular telephone, power windows, cruise control, and aftermarket Sony Xplod rear speakers. The door hinge detents are noted to be loose, while photos in the gallery document shrinking seat back and dashboard upholstery along with cracks on the Rootwood shift knob and parking brake lever.

A leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer flanked by a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 75k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller.

 

The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 272 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.
